I always was fascinated by aesthetics of kintsugi. But this time, when I stumbled upon another picture of melded pottery, it resonated with me so much. It looked exactly how I felt in the moment - trying to put myself back together, a splendid metaphor of how people get through tough times.

It was such a great reminder, that whenever adversities may make us feel vulnerable and imperfect, even irretrievably broken, this is what makes us complex beings. Such marks of existence, that don’t make us worse, on the contrary, golden scars with so much beauty in them.
